Oh so Sleek!

So, following a recent recommendation from my sister (also a beauty blogger - Purple Tulips) I purchased 2 new eyeshadow palettes from Sleek. One was "au Naturel" - which as I am sure you have guessed has lots of natural tones in (as seen below on the top left pallet). The second was the "original palette", this was full of different colours which each had a slight shimmer to them. As you can see from the photo below I also couldn't resist the "blush by 3" blusher. 

I have fair skin and found that the colours in the "blush by 3" were exactly what I needed. To be perfectly honest I have only worn the middle colour as it is subtle - with a hint of shimmer in it. I found this most suitable for everyday use. However, I am keen to try the other colours out as I don't think they will be very harsh on my skin, but I guess you never know until you try it.

I was actually really pleased with the eyeshadow palettes. I had originally been after the natural colour eye palette from Barry M, but couldn't seem to find it in the shops (I probably wasn't looking hard enough, well that and the fact we had very little time to shop!). There were just so many different palettes to choose from in the Sleek range, however I limited myself to just the 2, for now anyway. 

I would definitely recommend these to others, but one thing that is a must is a good primer to make the colour last longer. I was particularly impressed with the quality for the price. I went into Urban Decay after I purchased these products and found they were selling far less for a lot more! All in all, I think I bagged myself a bargain!
